When most people think of the self storage industry they think about an episode of NCIS where the terrorist hid bombs in a storage unit or the scene from Silence of the Lambs where something rather gruesome was discovered. Amazing Spaces, a self storage company based in the Houston, Texas, area, will be opening a new self storage facility around mid-March near the Medical Center in Houston, and is pulling out all the stops in order to show how happy they are to be there.
The grand opening celebration is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 20. When Amazing Spaces celebrates—they celebrate! The company will have festivities that day from 11 AM to 2 PM. During that time they will open to the public (if anyone wants to just say hi). Prizes (gift cards, 42” plasma TV, gift baskets, etc.) will be given out throughout the day and people can enjoy made-to-order crepes after (or before) they take part in a wine tasting as well.
Amazing Spaces has been around long enough to know that giving thanks to the people that walk through the door is not enough. They want to show their appreciation and joy by also giving back to the community. To do so they have pledged to donate 10 percent of all sales during its first 30 days to the Houston Shriners Hospitals for Children. In addition, the company’s other three locations will also donate 10 percent of all sales of moving supplies during the same time frame.
